DOTD to close lanes on Hwy. 1 | Transportation

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will close one lane of traffic on part of LA Hwy. 1 (Youree Dr.) heading both north and south starting on July 17.

The road work will happen between LA 526 (Bert Kouns Industrial Loop) and LA 175 (Gail Red Bluff Road), weather permitting. DOTD crews will be doing roadwork on that section of the highway for approximately five months.

DOTD reminds motorists to drive with caution through the construction area and watch out for work crews.
