Shreveport residents are asked to provide feedback on the latest plan for the I-49 Inner City Connector. There will be three meetings discussing the plans:
Folks in one part of southeast Shreveport will have to live with the smell of raw sewage and a closed road as city crews work to repair a sewer main. The road is expected to reopen by Wednesday morning.

North Louisiana-based Goodwill Industries announces that it has been selected as one of 500 nonprofit finalists in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program.
The automaker is giving 100 cars to 100 vehicles over the course of 100 days. Goodwill was selected as a finalist from more than 4,000 applications nationwide.
Each day, beginning May 14, 2012, 100 Cars for Good will profile five finalists at www.100carsforgood.com.
Traffic heading north on East Bert Kouns at the railroad tracks between the Automall and LA Hwy. 3132 was detoured for several hours Wednesday after a truck carrying liquid nitrogen was hit and knocked over.
