SRAC to host regional art meeting on April 9

Shreveport Regional Arts Council will host the Regional LPA/LCA Meeting on April 9th at 9:00AM at the Red River Revel Office. It's located at 101 Crockett Street in Shreveport.

The meeting will discuss the latest efforts to support the Arts in Region 7 and the State of Louisiana and will convene two special interest groups, Artists and Arts in Education Professionals to deal with questions and the advancements of both areas of interest in our state.

SPAR announces Spring camps

SPAR  announces Spring camps

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) will hold spring camps at each of its community centers for Caddo Parish School students out on Spring Break.

The camps are scheduled for 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.  the week of March 26th through March 30th.

Organizers say the Spring Camps will include games, movies, field trips, and other fun activities for youth ages 6 to 12 for the Youth Spring Camp and teens ages 12 – 17 for the Teen Spring Camp.

Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
