Tow truck tangles with 18-wheeler, driver pinned

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA)- A tow truck driver was pinned inside his truck after smashing into the back of an 18-wheeler on Monday.

Shreveport Police Department Spokesperson Sgt. Bill Goodin says it happened just before Noon on 3132 west-bound at Line Avenue.

Investigators say the 18-wheeler stopped on the shoulder and was trying to get back onto the highway when the tow truck came over the hill and ran into the back of the 18-wheeler. Goodin says the driver suffered non-life threatening.
