The eye doctors at WK Eyes, a part of the Willis-Knighton Physician Network, are offering free back-to-school vision screenings for children ages 5 to 21 years on the first four Saturdays in August. The screenings will take place from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the following locations:
Louisiana Association for the Blind (LAB) is hosting a camp for children with documented visual impairment July 29th through August 2nd. The camp will be held at LAB’s Claiborne Avenue campus at its Low Vision Rehabilitation Center.

The Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc,. Northwest Louisiana Chapter will host the 37th Annual “Softball Tournament- The Granddaddy of them All” on Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14 at Cargill and Southern Hills Parks.
More than 300 registration packets have been mailed to returning teams and new teams that have indicated they are interested in supporting this fundraiser.
