Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation will host its annual Holiday in Dixie Adult Softball Tournament at Cargill Park Sports Complex on April 13 and 14.

Centenary and LSU Health renew joint undergraduate research program

Centenary College and LSU Health Shreveport have renewed the Centenary and LSU: Leaders for Undergraduate Learning and Research (CELLULAR) Program. The CELLULAR Program enables Centenary students to work on research projects with LSU Health faculty members while earning academic credit.

Centenary’s natural science faculty overwhelmingly voted to renew the program this year. Through CELLULAR, students are able to contribute to current scientific research while learning about the process of discovery by working directly with investigators.
