Two Fall Junior Golf Camps coming to Shreveport | Events
First Tee of Northwest Louisiana will host a pair of golfing camps aimed at giving kids and teens a chance to learn the fundamentals of the game.
The Fall Junior Golf Camps both run for four weeks. The cost is $50 for kids and teens between the ages of 5 - 16. Each camp is limited to just 25 students.
Both camps will run from September 22 - October 13. One will be from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at the Jerry "Tim" Brooks Golf Course at 2200 Milam Street. The other is from 2 - 3:30 p.m. at Querbes Golf Course, located at 3500 Beverly Place.
The camps will cover the key fundamental (grip, posture, and alignment), long game, short game (pitching, chipping, and putting), rules and etiquette.
The First Tee is an initiative of the World Golf Foundation, based in St. Augustine, Florida at World Golf Village, home of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
