SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport/Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information on whoever is responsible for numerous cases of vandalism.

Since Sunday, July 10, police have gotten nine reports of glass being broken in the 8800 and 8900 blocks of Kingston Road. Officers think the windows were shot out at various times of the day using either a BB or pellet gun.

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Fingerprints found at a home burglary led to the arrest of a Shreveport man.

Back on June 20, police responded to a home burglary in the 3000 of Burson Drive. The victim said someone robbed the home of video game consoles, controllers and games, and thought the robber used a key hidden underneath a mat to enter the home.

A local man is behind bars this morning accused of robbing a Shreveport convenience store while his alleged accomplice is on the lam.

At approximately 3:20 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a reported armed robbery at the Circle K in the 2100 block of West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. Upon their arrival, responding patrolmen were advised by a witness that a male suspect entered the business there armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and two cartons of cigarettes, the suspect fled the scene of the crime in a vehicle. No one was injured during this robbery.

On Monday, June 6, 2011, troopers with the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division in Shreveport arrested two females and charged them each with one count of filing false public records. Both females, who were from Shreveport, were arrested at the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) in Shreveport for attempting to get a Louisiana identification card for a 19-year-old female with false information.

Caddo sheriff's detectives have arrested a second suspect for using credit cards stolen from a customer at a local restaurant to purchase gas and other items.

25-year-old Latoya Lewis was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for the unauthorized use of an access card.

A Shreveport restaurant employee was arrested for stealing a customer's wallet and using his credit cards to make over $1,000 in purchases, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

 Amber Blazer, 21, of the 1600 block of Malcom Street, is accused of stealing the wallet after the customer left it on the seat at the IHOP on Youree Drive. Blazer along with other employees used the victim’s credit cards to make purchases at Wal-Mart and fuel purchases at several Shreveport gas stations.

Detectives are searching for a local man accused of providing a juvenile with alcoholic beverages and narcotics.  

Last October, patrol officers responded to a report from a concerned citizen regarding an adult male suspect who was allegedly providing alcoholic beverages and narcotics to a child.
