Exchange Club sets 'Meet the Candidates Night' | Community Spirit

In an effort that they hope will encourage voter participation, The Exchange Club of Bossier will hold a Meet the Candidates Night.

Visitors will hear candidates in several local races starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in downtown Shreveport at 102 Lake St.

The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. At 6, we will start with a program called "One Nation Under God," with the Meet the Candidates event starting at 6:30. 

The campaign is designed to increase voter participation in this year’s elections.

Candidates that will be speaking, For Congress: Congressman John Fleming (possible) and Randall Lord. Bossier and Webster Parish District Judge: Mike Nerren, Whit Graves, and John Slattery. Judge, Court of Appeal 2nd Circuit, 3rd District: Judge David Matlock and Judge Frances Pitman. Benton Chief of Police: Gene Hillen.
