Bossier City car club hosting Chili Cookoff | Community Spirit

The 2nd Annual Asbury Motor Club Chili Cookoff will run from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 3200 Airline Drive in Bossier City.

You need to bring five quarts of your best chili and give it a car-related title (e.g., Firebird). There is no entry fee and trophy's for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be decided by popular vote. The grand prize is a YETI Tundra Cooler. Folks can begin their setup at 3:00 p.m.

Donations will be accepted so folks can taste test the chili and vote on their favorite one. Leftovers will be available once the voting is finished.

The church will hold a devotional during the event. Bring your classics, hot rods, trucks, anything with wheels to have fun, food, fellowship and cars.
