University Elem. hosts Wildcat 5K Walk/Run | Community Spirit

University Elem. hosts Wildcat 5K Walk/Run
Members of University Elementary's Parent-Teacher Association will host its first ever Wildcat 5K Walk/Run in February of next year.
Organizers of the event hope to raise money for more technology for the elementary school.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2012 on the campus of LSU-Shreveport. There will be 1/2 Mile Fun Run, which will kick off at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the walk and the 5K Walk/Run will get underway at 8:30 a.m.
Those interested in participating can register now at Sportspectrum, which is located at 6970 Fern Avenue in Shreveport.
