Shreveport scouts take part in flag dedication ceremony | Arts & Culture

The scout troop from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church was on hand for a flag dedication ceremony at The Oaks of Louisiana, located on Flournoy Lucas Road.

Scoutmaster Charles Williamson brought in a group of new Scouts who needed to conduct a color guard ceremony as part of the requirement to meet their first level of advancement. The Live Oak Chorus was also on hand and performed “Grand Old Flag” and “God Bless America.”
